White (or washed) almond is the almond without the skin. The skins are removed using a manual steaming process.
The almonds are air- dried. This soft and natural drying enhances their digestibility, develops their taste and preserves the precious unsaturated fat acids.
The almonds are then ground and packaged.
We also produce an uncooked white almond puree.
As well as being rich in calcium, phosphorous, magnesium,Vitamin E and lecithin, almond puree is indispensable in any vegetarian diet as a replacement for animal fat.
Uses: Almond puree can be used instead of creme fraiche or cream. For example, add to cooked vegetables
It is a good food supplement for young children.
Recipe idea : Almond milk
Blend 2 tablespoonfuls of white almond puree with a little water. When you obtain the consistency of fresh cream, add more water until you obtain the consistency of milk.
