Cashew nut is the fruit of the cashew tree, which is very common in India, Reunion island, South and Central America and Africa. Cashew nuts are lightly air-dried in our factory. This gentle and natural drying process develops their taste and enhances their digestibility. They are then ground at low temperature.
Cashew nuts have a very sweet taste. They are rich in carbohydrates, calcium, phosphorous and magnesium. They are easily digested and tolerated by the most fragile stomachs.
Uses: Cashew nut puree is mainly used in cooking, diluted with a little water. It is very good with raw vegetables.
Recipe idea : Avocado sauce
Peel an avocado, mix it with a tablespoon full of cashew nut puree, the juice of a lemon, half a glass of water, salt and pepper. This sauce can be used with vegetables or as a sald dressing.
