Ingredients : White sesame puree 70%,
Raw cane sugar 30%.
Recipe idea : Sweet and sour sauce
Steam some vegetables (leeks, endives, chard) with a little water in a covered pot. When the vegetables are cooked add a spoonful of candied sesame diluted with a little water, add seasoning and a little vinegar and serve at once.
This sauce is a perfect complement to bitter vegetables such as endives or sweet vegetables like chinese cabbage. For the latter add a clove of crushed garlic to the sauce.
